The company was founded in 1965 and soon underwent constant growth, particularly in the seventies. These days, we strive for qualitative growth by expanding into new customer segments and improving our capabilities.

1965    Foundation of the company by Karl and Walter Braem
1966 First employees are hired
1969 Purchase of the first erosion machine, which lays the milestone for future success and our core capability
70s Growth, in particular in textile machining
1986 Purchase of first laser machine for precision welding and cutting; this symbolises a consistent step towards investing in new technologies
1993 Move to new manufacturing site with a production area of more than 1,000m2
1997 ISO 9001 certification with SQS
1998 The second generation enters the business management level (Martin Braem and Raphael Bausch)
1999 Membership with the network "Virtuelle Fabrik (VF) [virtual factory] Nordwestschweiz/Mittelland” opens up new possibilities for marketing and supply chain management (SCM)
1999 Implementation of apprenticeships for poly-mechanics to demonstrate our faith in Switzerland as a viable manufacturing site
2000 First international and national appearances at trade fairs (partly as a member of VF)
2001 Acquisition of new customer within the market segment of mechanical engineering for the manufacturing of semiconductors
2002 Review of ISO 9000:2000
2002 Take-over of remaining shares by Martin Bräm and Raphael Bausch
2003 New ISO 9001:2000 certification (PDF-file)
First poly-mechanic apprentice completes his apprenticeship
Upgrading of laser machining to 5 axis capabilities
Upgrading of 5 axis CNC milling to CNC BAZ
2004 Acquisition of new markets in Germany
